Alcohol, Apathy and Aliens

My friend was feeling sad and wanted her friends to come over for cheering up. She was also interested in sharing my love of the Alien movies and having a movie marathon.

We all got together and we all got drunk, and the Alien movies played... but we never really got around to watching them. LOL  I think we did other things... like pedicures and such. ;)


But we did set up that altar to Ripley, with my finished face-hugger plushie and a shot of booze.

There were a bunch of us there, but I only got a picture of me and two others. We had a super good time though!

We're so pretteh...

I'm in the most beautiful coven in the world. My opinion of course.  But this is my blog and my opinion is the only one that counts. lol

I hung out with two of my ladies for a night on the town... actually, a night out on the casino boat. lol  We weren't out for gambling... though we did, a little. Mostly just to try it out. I actually came home ahead $20, which is a big deal for me.

Not all coven get-togethers have to be only about ritual or magick.

Tuatha Dea in Iowa!

Girls night out to see Tuatha Dea in concert!

I first saw Tuatha Dea at PSG last summer. They are an appalacian rock/pagan band and I do love them!

The pagan shop in Burlington brought them in to play at a local Burlington venue and my good friend Sue and I went down to see them. I was so surprised that the concert lasted long after midnight! I was very glad that it was spring break and I didn't have to work the next day! The were so awesome though, they have so much energy. Check them out if you haven't heard them before.
